Hi, I am Egle
I started this space during a period of deep exhaustion.
After years of insomnia, overworking, chronic stress, and living in survival mode, my body began to break down and, eventually, forced me to slow down. I was diagnosed with restless leg syndrome, later with ovarian cysts and endometriosis, followed by hormonal imbalances. I was in constant pain — anxious, scared, always bloated, and profoundly exhausted.
That was when I began to understand that what I was experiencing wasn’t just burnout. In 2023, I was diagnosed with CPTSD.
This website is not about fixing yourself or becoming a better version of who you are. It’s a record of learning how to rest, regulate, and rebuild safety from the inside out. I share what I’m discovering about sleep, nervous system regulation, boundaries, and the quiet, often unglamorous work of recovery.
Everything here comes from lived experience. I’m not a therapist or a coach, and this isn’t advice. It’s documentation — of what helps, what doesn’t, and what healing actually looks like when you’re still in it.
If you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or tired of surviving, you’re not alone. This space exists for honesty, slowness, and recovery without performance.
My vision
As I moved through my recovery, I realized there wasn’t a single space created by women, for women, to understand and heal trauma in a complete, integrated way that reflects our bodies and nervous systems. I had to piece things together from different sources — learning why my chronic insomnia wasn’t improving, why talk therapy alone didn’t help, and how the female nervous system is strongly influenced by oxytocin and relational safety.
Currently, I am writing a book based on what I’ve learned over the years and my personal experiences, with the goal of helping other women learn, relate, and find a starting point on their healing journey. The long-term vision is to collaborate with experts and create a one-stop space for women to access clear, science-based information on how to regulate the nervous system effectively.
Until then, I share my own recovery process and what I’m learning here on this blog, as well as on my TikTok profile. If you’d like more regular updates, you can find me on my social channels.
